A realistic contemporary Riyadh neighborhood with selective climate-responsive landscaping.

70% hardscape / built urban character
30% landscape / planting character
The PARK can have higher vegetation density.
The rest of the neighborhood should have sparse, strategic planting.
MOST IMPORTANT:
KEEP THE CURRENT URBAN DESIGN.
KEEP THE MOSQUE EXACTLY AS IT IS.
DO NOT ADD MORE TREES.
REMOVE MUCH OF THE EXISTING EXCESSIVE VEGETATION.
MAKE THE LANDSCAPE VISUALLY DRIER, LIGHTER AND MORE REALISTIC FOR RIYADH.
